A gentle introduction to the course. Marker post is the line off the tee, more room to the right than left. Long hitters beware of the fairway cross bunker. 2nd shot is longer than it appears

A hole that plays longer than its yardage. Hitting the fairway is critical, left side is preferred leaving a shorter shot to the green. For your 2nd shot beware OOB to the right of the green and ensure you make the carry, an up and down from the gully is tough

The first of the strong par fours. Drive down the left side of the fairway, anything right may kick right with the slope of the fairway. 2nd shot play the yardage NOT what your eyes tell you! Green slopes front to back.

A heavily bunkered par 3 generally played into the prevailing wind so club selection is critical. Wherever the flag try and leave yourself short, don’t go long as you will leave yourself a tricky up and down or downhill putt.

A straight away par 4 though with driver bunkers left and right come into play. Crowned green, only the more skilful players will be able to keep the ball on the green if pitching in the middle.

A testing par 4, long and straight. Again, hug the left side but avoid the bunker at 240 yards off the tee. A drive down the left opens-up the green for the 2nd shot which plays longer than it appears. Hidden bunker left of the green.

A good par 3 nestling in the trees requiring a mid to long iron played to a two-tier green. The prevailing left to right wind makes the tee shot tricky as trees encroach on the left.

Justifiably stroke 1. Trees and OOB down the right so aim at the bunker on your left and trust your swing! 2nd shot is all carry to avoid the hollow short of the green. A 5 is no embarrassment here.

Marker post is the line off the tee; driver may not be the club as fairway ends at 230 yards. Beware of a left pin so play to the heart of the green which can be hard to hold.

The perfect line of the tee is slightly left of the marker post. The 2nd shot plays slightly downhill to a green in a hollow so the shot must be precise, don’t miss left as you will short side yourself.

A great driving hole. Aim your tee shot just right of the marker post and hit a draw but don’t hook as OOB down the left. A fairway wood or long iron to a green set below the fairway. A shot landing at the top of the ridge should roll down to the green. Go long and you will find a bunker.

Appears an easy hole but with hidden trouble. Bunkers left and a deep gully right put a premium on accuracy. If flag is at the back of the green play for the middle; short is better than long.

Off the tee aim at the bunker on the left to avoid the mounds which encroach into the fairway from the right. Bunkers left and right guard a green which slopes back to front. Care should be taken with subtle borrows around back pins.

A true risk reward hole but only for the bigger hitters. Pot bunkers at 270 yards and thick- rough. The prudent play is a tee shot of 190 yards and a pitch to a bowl-shaped green.

A picturesque par 3. Club selection is critical and generally plays one club more than the 12th. The front portion of the green slopes dramatically towards the tee and balls pitching there will roll off the green. Long however has no future!

A tight tee shot with OOB left but a drive to the right may well leave trees blocking the 2nd shot. For most players the bunker at 257 yards is the line. Greenside bunkers left and right. If hitting over the bunker short right of the green account for 10 yards of unseen fairway.

Only par 5 but does not give away many birdies. A long drive down the middle avoiding the gorse and OOB left is followed by a 2nd shot short of the cross bunkers; only the longest of hitters can carry these. Pitch onto a wide green from left to right; check the flag position before you hit.

Off the tee the line is just to the left of the church with a touch of fade. OOB left off tee and trees tight right. A pitch to a narrow two-tier green you must be short of or on the tier with the flag; good luck with long!
